Chesterfields First Victorian Market

Chesterfield Market steps back in time on Sunday 3 December with its first Victorian Market since the real thing over a century ago.
Have your picture taken on a Penny Farthing bicycle and find out more about Victorian technology and transport. Discover an amazing array of Victorian instruments including a hurdy gurdy, clarinets, pipe and tabor played in the style of street musicians from the 1830's.
Look out for the Snow Queen, with icicles hanging from her fingernails and the North wind blowing from her blue lips, stalking through the streets with one of her elves from Lapland juggling snowballs at her side.
To get you really into the Christmas spirit, an 8 foot tall Christmas tree will be touring the market, with lights, decorations and a real live fairy on top!
With only 19 shopping days left till the big day check out the market stalls for the presents you haven't bought yet. If you can't find what your looking for, the shops will be open as well.
